I am thrilled

Ok, so I was drinking out of my McDonald's cup, using a straw of course and Michael wanted to play with the straw. I figured, what the hell let me try to get him to use the straw. So I said "Mikey, watch Mommy, now you do it". Well I'll be damned, he actually sucked hard enough to get soda up the straw and into his mouth to drink. I almost pooped on myself. I asked him to do it again and he did. Well the 3rd time I asked him he proceeded to suck and pull the straw out of the cup and spill soda all over the couch but at that point it didn't matter. It may not seem like a lot to most people but it means that he is using his repaired palate muscles. Hopefully the words will follow soon!
